Facilities
Sunnyview is a well established boarding kennel and cattery business which has been operational for 25 years and has been under new management since 2006. Labdom Retrievers was registered with The Kennel Club in 2005. Labdom is the affix which is the name Wayne and Lynn Mitchell have for all the dogs that they breed and own. Although these are the The Kennel Club names which the dogs are given at birth, the dogs are also known by their pet names.
Dog Boarding
All dogs are exercised at least twice per day with staff on site 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Sunnyview has fantastic views for the boarders over the Todmorden area.
Day Care
If you are at work all day or just out for the day, we can look after your pet for the day.
Training
It is important a dog is trained to ensure it is safe and that you gain the most enjoyment out of having your dog as part of your family. If you are interested in training dogs either as retrievers,gundogs, obedience or behavioural problems, please contact Wayne or Lynn.
Cattery
At Sunnyview we have two fully heated cattery buildings. To keep our cats in good health we ensure that they enjoy a safe, clean and comfortable environment as well as a balanced and nutritious diet and loving human companionship.
We provide a scratching post for all our guests which offer a safe, convenient and healthy outlet for exercising their natural inclination to scratch. We also provide a variety of safe cat toys to assist in keeping our guests entertained and exercised throughout their stay with us.
Dog and Cat Grooming
We can provide a full groom for your pet, we can bath and brush your pet if he/she does not require clipping or we can simply do a tidy up.
Dog Breeding
We carry out dog breeding with our black, yellow and chocolate Labradors on an on-going basis. We also have whelping facilities where we can whelp your bitch for you until the puppies are ready to go home.
Dog Sales
We regularly have dogs for sale; black, yellow and chocolate Labradors we have bred or where our customers are trying to re-home their pets.
These dogs could be puppies, partially trained or fully trained dogs.
Collection and Delivery
To assist those without their own transport we have a collection and delivery service where we can call to collect and/or return your pets, so please ensure you pre-book this service.
We are open 7 days per week: 8am to 1pm and 4pm to 6pm.
